No shit, there is no crime left in Wanganui, nothing, zero, zilch, In fact its so quiet that our police force are forced to give me a ticket for parking my wagon on the road outside my house.
Bastards.
Sure it was pointed in the wrong direction, Big deal, What the hell is the point of issuing the ticket?
To prove the cops a twat? to make me pay 40 miserable dollars? Is it a power trip? Its a wide residential road out in the burbs ffs. Was the world made a better or a worse place by writing out this pathetic slip of paper?
And hell yeah I went down the cop shop, told them they were morons, That I didn't give a damn about the $40 but I was disgusted that this is the best use of their time that they can come up with.
Want an easy way to lose respect?
This is it.
And the worst thing is the cop I was trying to argue with seemed to be a 12 year old girl, I would have easily beaten her in a fight, I nearly apologised.
Then I get home, tell the wife, she tells me I'm a dick and it serves me right:facepalm:
This is the sanitised version, apparently my original post actually exceeded the Kiwibiker offensive language rules.woot woot.
Fuck me, didn't even know we had any.

You are obviously the worst gangster/criminal/psychopath since Al Capone, Mr Headbanger. Doncha know that facing your car the wrong way endangers the very fabric of the universe???
For shame! Such heinous crime ought to attract the death penalty - just ask Garth McVicar...

A mate of mine in the bustling metropolis of Wellywood got a ticket for parking when all he was doing was waiting for someone to vacate a park so he could take said park. They even sent him a photograph of his van, complete with him in it and the brake lights on!

No, she was only there to thank the cops for doing something about that poorly parked car.

Have it is occurred to you that it could have being a complaint from a member of the public and if the officer had done nothing then that member of the public could have complained about the non action of the officer.
So why should he deal with a IPCA complaint just cause you are too lazy to park properly?

So why should he deal with a IPCA complaint just cause you are too lazy to park properly? Because I'm fucking awesome. But no, they hang around the area because a prominent JP lives almost right next door, and obviously someone somewhere decided to make the world a better place while they were patrolling the strip.

I can't believe how callous your attitude is to your offending! The red reflectors are on the rear of your car... with it parked the wrong way around, in the dark it becomes an inivisible object of death that could easily be run into by a pissed driver just innocently making their way home from the pub! I'm glad you've seen the light and turned it around... blind fuckwits need to be protected too!

You must have driven on the wrong side of the road to park facing the wrong way - did they ticket you for that as well?

Only if you are reading the TV weather forecast?
Actually the correct pronounciation is Wanganui and everytime I hear Fanganui I choke into my vinho tinto. Ignoramuses!

fuck no, I drove home in reverse.
But imagine how they could have made the world a better place if they had caught me in the act. I mean fuck, every single variation from the regimented should be met with some form of tax collection, Otherwise imagine the chaos, The burbs would be in flames.

In the UK it's perfectly legal, even commonplace, to park on the other side of the road.
