My Valentine 1 radar detector is for sale. Used for about two years on the road.
Have taken up racing so need to buy a transponder instead.
Works flawlessly, gives a reading 4-6 kms away. Never EVER falses. If it goes off slow down.
Saved my license probably 20 times or more over the time I've owned it. Scratch that - pretty much every ride. Learn to read it and you know when cops are playing with you using instant on or constant radar. If you go around a corner and there's a cop there, have you ever wondered whether you should gap it or pull over? Or if he "really" got you? Well now you will have the ability to make a conscious decision - to gap it or pull over having nothing to fear knowing he doesn't have a lock on you if you do.
$399 cheap for that level of security. Will pay itself off in 1 ride or less. In my opinion the best investment a road rider can make.

Also have a stem mount that I imported from the US - paid one twenty, yours for $50 really mint condition too - It's got heavy duty velcro on it to stick the radar to. The radar is wrapped in a clear coat transparent cover making it semi waterproof and able to withstand small showers without the need for an aerodynamically bulky cover that only makes your bike look ugly and slow you down. Will package it with the V1 if you want to save shipping.
