Stuck a camera on the new Harley KR test bikes.
I really like the new Road King with the 103 cube and touring chassis.
Handed it back yesterday after living on it for a week. It's an outstanding motorcycle. Beautiful thing.

for some reason, I can't see the video on Kiwibiker, and if I try you tube it is always stopping at 21 sec.
Will try again later! Bloody computers.

Usually some sort of browser cache issue - empty and refresh perhaps?

Some better than others. The Road King has about average 'large touring bike' clearances.
The handling is as good as any in the class. The brakes are one-finger and have ABS. The engine is torquey and while not massively powerful its character and feel are quite delightful on the open road.
The Fat Boy is a better urban vehicle.

seemed to do the trick, the weird thing was I could watch other vids on you tube, just not that one.
Have you done a review on the 883?

Mike Esdaile went to the launch this year and has a report in the next KR issue - at the printers now.
I'm too big to do them justice. I can ride them OK and they are comfortable enough, but boy it looks silly. :-)

Since my accident I've been taking a good hard look at life... Don't s'pose KR needs another reviewer? Be it bikes, gear or accessories, or just someone to give another opinion on the bikes you ride... ? :innocent: (I make great coffee, as well...)

You mean you can't get the ones you've ridden to do the same:blink::lol:
'Cadillac on two wheel' - very smooth, comfortable and able to carry a lot of gear.
I did 700km first day on the one I had in the US this year - and could easily have done more and still felt fine and 'untired'.
The only reason I didn't keep going was that I'd have the intended journey cut out in three days instead of the week we had planned.:(

I've never ridden a Harley, but I have ridden a chopper and I found it a real cunt to ride. The riding position was awful, which clearly didn't inspire confidence in myself.

Not all choppers are Harleys - and cornering was NOT what choppers were designed for.
