**Includes unique personalised plate and oil cooler cover**
Ageless good looks, coupled with Suzuki's renowned 4 cylinder, fuel injected, oil cooled engine with more torque than any in its class and you have a bike that is noticed.
Include fully adjustable suspension, both front and rear, six speed transmission, very comfortable seating for two and you can happily foot it with the sport bike brigade but is a bike which is equally at home doing a 10 hour day, long distance touring.
What sets these bikes apart is the torque. Forget having to change two or three gears to find some power. With these bikes you just roll on the throttle in any gear and away you go.

I like these bikes so much that this is the second consecutive GSX 1400 that I have owned.
She's recently had a new Michelin Pilot Road 2 fitted to the rear and has a Michelin Pilot Road fitted to the front.
I have put wheel stripes on both wheels, engine protection bars (sliders), a Scorpion exhaust (sounds magnificent) and fitted a Ventura pack rack. It has a bracket on the handlebar which can carry a GPS navigator or radar detector and has 12v power supply.

Also it comes with a very unique oil cooler cover which is one of only two in NZ and now are unavailable anywhere in the world.

*** I have included the personalised plate, GSX I4, making this a very, very unique motorcycle.***

I have meticulously maintained this motorcycle as I have all my past motorcycles. She has rarely been wet, (I am a fine weather rider) and never been dropped. After engine running-in was completed she has run on 100% synthetic oil. From new I had fitted considerable amounts of plastic adhesive for paint protection. I will include the cover for the bike in the sale.

These bikes are no longer made. Opinion confirms that they will quickly become very collectable.

Unfortunately I have had to hang up my helmet for the last time.
You wont fault this machine, I am happy for you to come and see for yourself.

$11,000 firm. Got to be great value. Phone Neville 0274-866-121.

If it is a case of holding ya bike up, how about biting the bullet and Triking the GSX1400 (heads to the bathroom ta wash my mouth out)? Better than stopping all together though. The GSX1400 would make one hell of a trike (Trike Works would make a good job of it).

Hiya mate, not you too. It's pretty rough having to walk away from these machines :(

Nice bike ya have there and that cooler cover is pretty special alright.
All the best with the sale. You've picked the right time of the year for it.

I still reckon they are quicker in black. :)

Mate I wouldn't have the heart to butcher such a nice bike. I've got grief with hips knees and elbows. Too much abuse of the body for too many years I have been told. It gets too painfull if I ride for any length of time. Trust me to sell it is real hard to do. I had expected to own it for the rest of my natural but of course that was thinking that I would still be able to ride.

They came from Road and Sport when they were getting out of all their Suzuki parts and accessories. Paid $200 for them. I believe they are made in Hamilton.

Gidday mate,

I've left it sitting in the garage for the last 4 months agonising over the decision. My younger brother who is 52 years old has a hip replacement scheduled for March next year. I guess I will be next. Must be from carrying too many deer over too rougher county I think.

I believe the bike will appeal to someone who will be a long term owner and wants something that is a little special (with the personalised plate and cooler cover) not just another GSX1400. I would think the plate alone should be good for $2k.

So at $10,000 its got to be good buying, I just can't stand seeing it sitting in the garage, just too tempting, especially with the nice weather here now and the promise of an exceptional summer.

Re the colour, if you were to ride my blue and white I am sure it would blow all the other black 14's away, I guess I am just too much of a nana. LOL

Keep in touch mate and all the best.

Regards to you and family,
SJ

Good luck with the sale, and the reason for it sucks too.
