Here's a great website for working out the differences in sprocket ratios, gearing, RPM, and top/lower speeds.

http://www.gearingcommander.com/

Enter your bike model, and it will display standard stock gearing. Change your set up in custom field and enjoy the graph data.

Tech heads will love this shit. No excuses for running the wrong gearing now, eh boys?

Their data can be wrong sometimes.
They try to check, but the internal/external ratios, chain length/pitch, swing arm length, sprocket centres etc are user supplied.

It's useful, the calculations are correct but as Nordie says, some of the data is wrong. And they don't seem bothered about correcting it, despite asking for feedback.

Initially they grabbed a lot of data from internet sources etc which were wrong to start with.

They're a bit pickier now.
I supplied the '81 GSX400F info and had to say my source (factory manual) and wait a week while they confirmed it.
