Anyone work for a car audio place? Or know a local (N.Z.) shop that does this kind of thing?

http://www.addacdchanger.co.uk/Toyota_USB_Input_Adapter_for_Factory_Stereo

My CD Player doesn't do MP3, and has no aux input; but there appear to be adaptors that plug into CD-Changer inputs and make folders of files on a USB (or SD) memory pretend to be CD's in a stacker...

Cheers,

What brand is your stereo?
I dumped the alpine stacker from my car and got a aux input cable which uses the stacker input on the headunit. Lots for sale on tardme

Dunno. Once googled it up, it's a common OEM brand (Mitsui or something).

Edit: Panasonic (Matsushita) W53901 or W53903 or W53904

(
It's built into the dash of my car.

I have seen replacement bezels for sale, so I could dump the whole thing and get a full replacement - seems like a lot of hassle though.
)

The thing you note sounds like what I need - didn't even think of looking at TM.

Had a good look at TM yesterday, couldn't find anything sutiable.

(Saw a lot of those things that transmit on FM and you tune your radio to it, but not keen on that.)
