I've said before that in 30 years the pay rates of MPs has doubled compared to the poor teachers and now they are going to race away further. There is no justice in that nor are they worth it.

I wholly agree that they're not worth it. Too busy raising finance to buy and sell stuff on the market to notice that their "staff" are having an awkward time of it because the economy is shit... Fuckem, the money for pay rises is theirs, tough shit everyone else, now do your fuckin jobs and earn them more for when then give up their housing subsides (worth up to $24,000?)... They live in a different fuckin world where financial penalties and the laws are the answer to everything . Except none of that seems to apply to them, because they're in the service of their country? gah!!!
rant over :devil2:

I would prefer they got 20K/year and everything else was paid for.
Free airfares.
Free accommodation.
Free food.
See how many do it for anything bar salary.

Aw, come on, be fair.
As always, the teachers struggle to maintain rolling industrial action, due to the constant interuption by holidays. It's not easy for them...

Those who know DO. Those who don't TEACH. I have yet to see a first world country where the primary and secondary schooling standards are as god-awful as New Zealand. They want a pay rise for what???

Its alright. Secondary teacher's big brains have allowed them to develop a strategy whereby being totally selfish and denying any need for parity with Primary or Early Childhood collegues means their demands are affordable!
Nurses? Fuck them. Me me me. Now now now.
