An original idea of double points for the last round of the 2011 Castrol Power 1 NZ Superbike Championship at Manfeild has been dropped. After discussions with the Manawatu Orion organisers , Motorcycling New Zealand and others , it has been decided that double points , while in theory was a good idea to try and attract riders to the last round , in practice it may not have worked exactly as intended. The organisers are looking at other ideas to make the series a final a successful conclusion to the series. Book the date April 2nd-3rd 2011 , Manfeild. Park Feilding .
Entry forms and Sub Regulations for the 2011 Castrol Power 1 Championship series are due for release this coming week.
