hi there guys,

I have a friend with a buell ( don't hold that against him ) he has warped his front disc ( normal floating type not weird 'rim edge' style ) and has thought of changing the whole front end for something modern.

something such as a Suzy or Kawaka - possibly Duc or aprillia due to the diamensions.

He's looking for USD forks taht are 54mm upper leg dia and 700mm top to axle length UNSPRUNG. He is looking for full front end as in forks, rim, discs, calipers, pref a front guard too.

I have seen shaun harris advertising this type of "combo" before and the price was within this guys happy limit.

if anyone has anything PM me. and NO IT AINT FOR MY ZXR!!

many thanks

The trick to swapping out the front end will come down to Tripple clamps on the bike already mate, if that is what your mate wants to use?

As the centres of the Tripple clamps vary, so this means axle length with also be relivent!!

I believe he would be best to completely swapp the front end, Tripple clamps the lot if this is what he wants to do, the only trick to doing that, is making sure of stearing head bearings fitments to the chassis
