From what it looked like when I first got it, mostly standard spec apart from the Yoshi pipe, to what it looks like today. Changes include custom replica vinyl's made by myself and imdying, crescent suzuki adj rearsets, yoshi engine management system, brembo 4 pot callipers, yoshi gt meter, ohlins rear shock, ohlins steering damper, clutch lever and switch gear mounted on the right clipon. It's going to get the front suspension overhauled in the next couple of weeks too.

Last pic is of the final dyno run we did recently. Forget the numbers, every dyno is different, but look at how smooth that power line is.

I won't sell this bike, it's a part of me.

How do the levers work? Do you use your hand for the front brake or is it moved to a foot pedal?

All the levers are in their original position, bar the clutch, which is mounted on the right clip-on 'backwards' (ie facing me) and is operated by my thumb.

Indeed, in fact ,I bought it from your favourite bike shop and mentioned your name in the hope of a huge discount,

Craig asked me one day if I knew a guy who lived at Urenui and rode a BMW. I said I didn't.

"He knows you."

Of course I thought you lived at Merrilands and had a Harley... So it's just this morning that I finally figured out who that particular guy is...

As for influence; when I walked into the shop one day the office lady called out, "Here comes the guy that pays my wages". At one stage I was contemplating getting my wages direct credited to the shop to make my life simpler.

Of course none of that actually results in anything like "influence". Shit! It's all I can do to get a discount for myself. :violin:

(Actually tbh I'm happy to deal with Energy Honda, they kindly let me ride anything on the yard. It's just a shame we have Blue Wing as the importer. Or rather, judging by the number of Honda models they don't import, the non- importer.)

For a very brief time I had the '85 VF500 and the '90 VFR750, but had to sell the VF coz my wife was like
Had the VFR750 for a goodly while until some numbnuts u-turned into me without looking or signalling. I wanted to buy the wreck as it was 'only' $6800 of cosmetic damage, but my wife was like   so I bought the FahrtSturm. Some guy who used to be on KB bought the VFR and fixed it up for around $2500 (including buying the wreck!), so I was like  and . My plan to fix it and bling it out with aftermarket zorst, brakes and suspenders came to nought.

Happily, my wife then forced me to trade the VTR in on the VFR800, which I've had for 6 years.
A few mods: Elka rear shock, Ohlins/Racetech front end, Staintune zorst, PowerCommander and custom map, Blue Seas electrical bits, Fiamm horns, heated grips, brighter headlights, Unifilter, Ariete alloy valvestems (wheels, not engine), hugger, C/F tank pad, Ventura headlight guard and rack, blah blah. Sometime it will get a new paintjob and polished wheels like the 750 had, and a custom seat.
Or not...

Still not an MV though
