My old GSXR is dead
at about 90,000 kms the engine blew up, pissing oil over the rear tire, and causing it to fall over.
I am proud to report it was ridden properly.
It seems a bit unusual though, for it to implode like that!

I don't reckon they would be all that easy to blow up, if they are regularly maintained.

same, i thought that they were a bit tougher.

correct,it was always the suzuki way of describing problems with their bikes at the 6 hour....

If it was in its 60's then that is even more interesting.
I did give it a bit of a thrashing, but nothing too savage.
I wonder what will go first on my DR?

Suzuki uses the oil pumps from the big boy, if you remember them, ohh and they use sub standard bolts which stretch which = a engine time bomb:facepalm:
