I got a hiace and got seats for it all certed up so i can take seats out for bikes and in for piss trips but it is pretty noisy in there with a bit of a drone when going above 80 kph.
has anyone used anything to quiet theirs down.
i have seen a few things on TM but wonder if they will do much.

Cheers SBF

Probly not much use if you want the seats but i put a ply floor down over the carpet then carpeted over the top of ply in my nissan, that worked ok I found alot of the drone was coming from the wheel archs and boxing them in helped heeps

you can get some stuff that we put into launch engine rooms.
the really good stuff has a 3mm core of rubber.
it is basicly a dense foam with a reflective silver foilish cover.
we just contact glue it on

Ive a mate who grabbed some used Carding machine rubber from work and put it all round the inside of the rear of his van,i put it down on the tuffdeck of the ute also though for a different reason, can get a heap of it but the cost of getting it up there probably rules it out mate.

I removed all of the rear inner trim covers & filled the gaps up with pink bats, made a huge difference, the sound deadening stuff with the silver backing I put under the front carpets etc

Foam rubber carpet underlay worked pretty well in my LandRovers

Easy to cut to fit and glue into place

Makes the inside look rather like a recording studio though

Try Joseph Fritzel interiors, I believe he is a master at installing sound deadening - they are an Austrian based company but he may be wiling to run....opps, I mean travel.
