thanx!
i wrote a mail to hampton to know infos about some days and ranting a bike...and leather suit..
i think to bring with helmet, boots and glooves..unfurtunately shipping the bike this time is pretty hard.. we have to ship a sofa..
how it s far christc. from auck ?.. car+boat ... right?
i visit taupo 3 years ago..the circuit manager was really happy to showme the track !
i like it.. what about theese other two tracks?...i search on youtube some nice lap..but it s pretty hard: i find a lot of car and few bikes!..
i have to fight 2 problems in NZ: i use only 1000cc and... 2cyl !!!... the only 4cyl i have is the mv..but i never (do not hit me please) try a good lap with my tamburini...its too danger!
..so renting a suzuki 600 is a new experience..think about use it in an unknown track!!!!!

Hey mate, the cost is the same with Hampton Downs Ride Days whether you hire some of the gear or all of the gear.
The hire gear will be an Arai helmet, Alpinestars gloves and boots and a Teknic suit.

yes i know, bit i m sure the suit its too big to be send as a pair of jeans..i think about glooves and boots because are the things you use to "feel" the bike...thincking about new bike..new track..and..new country..i thinck to fell more confortable with mine!..
may be the helmet....

Hampton Downs is your best bet for hiring a bike and is an excellent track to ride.

Check this site for other track days:

Start line first gear, should be all you need to know to begin with, Hampton have the superbike school there and they will show you all the lines if you book into one of their days !
Either that or you are one clever bugger if you can learn a track by watching a video
