Guys and gals,

On sunday my motorcycle decided to test my ability to handle stress around xmas time, by breaking.

if anyone knows of a full set of the parts in the subject title in NZ i would be very appreciative to purchase them. Kawaka NZ has not got any and they will need to be ordered from japan. I will happily order a set and replace your set if you don't require them at this time, or pay outright for the parts.

Time is of the essense so we can hopefully rebuild, and re run in prior to nationals.

the genuine part numbers are
Rod bolts # 92150-1081 X 8
Rod nuts # 92015-1715 X 8

i would also be interested in a new conrod if there is one floating around, they are no longer made.

cheers for any help your willing to throw my way!

Get in contact with Andy Bowell at Colin Clyne motorcycles Oamaru, he has green blood and if he had children they would be zxr400's.

So glad I'm on a gay bike. That kinda sucks the big one Neil. Doesn't your brother have one of them unreliable KawARSEaki ZXR's you could rape the parts off?

Yep, im hoping to race at vic club again next year...all things going well :)

looking for a bigger radiator at the moment for a start. Bike only has a standard motor in it at the moment with standard carbs since the other one went bang, not very competitive but will get me back out there again.

If yours is an H then you just fit the rad from an L which is a decent improvement in size.
The other thing to do is use water wetter in the rad. Its legal for racing but helps the temp heaps.
Incidently if you have a chernobled H motor and you are running a cooking L or J engine they are down a bit on HP.If you fit the H cams you'll get some "free" hp.
After a couple of seasons on Mella Yella I found a couple of extra free ponies.

Yep, thanks frosty. I know about the h cams are better so i will look at putting those in at some stage. I just need to find a larger radiator but haven't found one yet. even an L model ones seem to be hard to come by.
