leather pants wanted

not sure what i need, i think leather pants would be good but any sort of protection would do
must be extremely cheap as i'm only likely to use them once or twice a year (i normally just wear jeans when commuting)

dude, buy some Cordura pants, then you can wear them thru-out the year and protect yourself from all sorts of crap, plus should the worst happen.. jeans won't protect shit. Spend the money, save yourself from a few years of skin grafts. TradeMe often has a selection of good stuff like that, often for a hundy or less..

I cringe every day at watching a moped rider in shorts and jandles. Must really have no idea about what can happen. I know you have jeans on, but still, it only takes that one time of half a second, and that's it for the rest of your life.. Don't mean to bang on about it, but it's so over-looked at the horrible things I've seen..

I fell off at two hundred and something wearing leather jeans over my Levis. Actually, they were Dads leather jeans. They were absolutely fucked but other than a couple of nasty impact grazes, I was sweet.

Could'a had something to do with the fence slowing my progress somewhat however.
