Hey Guys and Girls!

MOTOMART is holding a Christmas ride on the 12th of December.

All are welcome!

We are holding an adventure ride and a road ride on the 12th December 2010, so adventure and road riders are more than welcome to attend. The staff will be there in force on the some of the latest and greatest toys we have.

It would be fantastic if lots of people turned up as we would love to talk you guys and girls and get to know all the bikers out there, know about what you are riding and hear the stories of your travels. So come along, meet the crew and have an awesome time!

The adventure ride leaves at 9:30 am via Wainuiomata coast road and the road ride leaves at 10:00 am via Martinborough and Gladstone.

There will be a free lunch so if you are planning PLEASE PM ME, so I can get the catering sorted.

All riders are to meet at MOTOMART which is located at 7, Rutherford Street, Lower Hutt. Meet time is 9:00 am so that riders can be briefed and bikes can be checked.

We are going, rain, hail or shine.

Hope to see many riders there! So on yer bikes! And remember PM ME if you are coming!

Regards

Dushy

For ?.....

Well it is always good to check chains and tires etc. We do have a workshop so if anyone needs something tightened by chance, it can be. As organisers of a ride, we try to make sure everyone has a fun and SAFE time. I'll be there and I hope that many other wellington riders turn up.

Re the bike check thing...seems a large amount of hassle just to go on a road ride, though probably a fruitful endeavour on the shops part - I get my bike serviced regularly by another shop and frankly don't feel the need to have it 'looked over' before I go out on another shops ride.

I wonder does this amount of effort on your part mean that you would be required to take responsibility for any ahem 'issues that may arise' on the ride? Also does that mean that you'll exclude people from riding on the public road with the group if their bikes are assessed as 'not being up to standard'?

Just wondering

Was thinking of coming so did an oil change on the bike, only to find great chunks of alloy in oil and filter !
If i were to bring it down in the van would you sort the issue for me so i can come ?

Sigh ! quess i won't be there for this !!!

This is just a means of allowing riders who happen to need to put air in tires etc to do so and that happen to have forgot or want to double check to do so.

It is just something I picked up from group riding up in Auckland. Didn't mean any offense by it and we are by no means trying to "look over" your bike for money.

It is a social ride and we are just going out to have some fun. As ride organisers, we try to make everything as safe and enjoyable as possible, however each riders safety is up to them in the end.

Come along and have some fun! Would love to see you there.
