I got a new tyre tube and a few other little things after gtng a puncture and riding it rest of day at trail ride ( I think) lol. Dont really know when it happened but the tyre was knackered and bla bla bla. Took it in to shop got it fixed a day earlier then expected which I greatly appreciate. But they have put a smaller rear tyre on I had 110/90/19 now i have 100,90/19 what difference will I notice?

It also depends on what brand of tyre it is as well, if you had brand A tyre at 110 - 19 it could be the same as type B tyre at 100 - 19.
I think your 250 came out standard with 100 size tyre, it should go a little better as its not spinning as much mass.
But as per grip etc who knows?

Our boy races a ktm mini sx 50cc. We changed to a skinner rear tyre for the Mini Nationals for him as hard packed ground with ruts. As he rides standing & in ruts skinner tyre worked well with him.

Don't worry i don't stand as much as i should. My son is pretty much fearless and an aggressive rider.
Guess you'll soon find out with the tyres - i know bugger all about them. Only know of the latest ones as hubby gave me the instructions to order & why haha

Don't worry about standing, tyres or whatever, have the bike in good mechanical order (get a bike shop to do that if you don't know how), clean the air filter and set the tyres at 15PSI. Ride it for a season and then start thinking about the finer points of off road skills, it's supposed to be fun, not something to stress about.

the thinner tyres allow more wheelspin for the smaller bikes, not much of an issue on a 250f, but on a 125 you want a healthy amount of wheelspin otherwise the bike will load up and bog out of corners
with the torque of a 250f you wont notice much if any difference other than much better grip due to new edges

With the uncertainty with what type of weather we're gonna have this summer, a drought or a wet bogmire, I'd be more concerned about what type of tyre it is.
