Spokes help

ok so the cursed yzf wins again!!!!:violin:

after a quick blat around the track i blew a tyre and broke some spokes.

can anyone give me some advice on respoking a rear rim and a good place to get spokes from.

i have never re spoked a rim before so all info would be good.

is it best to replace all of them while your at it?
im guessing changing one spoke at a time is a good idea to keep the tension right?

Ok so last time i respoked a rim, i just used all the old spokes as none of them had broken (the hub had).
Im not sure you can buy intervidual spokes, you might have to buy a full set.
In that case ill replace them one at a time. Beacuse if you take them all out at once, you might get a bit confused on where they go.

Hopefully the rest of the spokes arn't seized, as they are a prick to free up. CRC to lube them up, and a butain torch (not at the same time) to break the rusty/seized thread.

yeah might be a lemon or might just need some love!!!
the spokes are seized so ill do the whole lot got a price of 79 bucks for the set so not to bad.

I had to heat every spoke in my wheel to release, I then put spoke thread on a fine wire brush to clean and ran a M3 tap through the nuts. I also had to replace 3 spokes. $27-00 through Wilksbrooke Motors in TA. Eventually I got it running true by placing a shaft through wheel bearings and mount shaft in the Vice and make a little pointer guide down by the rim. Then it was just a case of finding high spots and tightening to suit. I did this 2 yrs ago and the wheel is still true and every spoke still in tension.
