I received the following via email from a mate on the West Coast the other day ...
PIKE RIVER CHARITY RIDE
Meet Canterbury Riders at Jacksons Tavern at 11am on Saturday 18th December 2010
$20 per Bike
GROUP LEAVING FROM DAWSONS (REEFTON) AT 9AM
(for further details contact Peter Campion - Ulysses Westland 021 386 494)
Proceeds to Pike River Mayoral Fund
I also picked up the attached flyer today RE the ride from Rolling Thunder bike shop in Manchester St. I talked to the guys at Rolling Thunder and was advised that they're doing a BBQ for breakfast at the shop and then leaving at 0815 to meet the West Coast group at Jacksons pub before continuing on to Greymouth.
Disclaimer:- I'm not the organisor of either of these rides, nor am I associated with them or their organising groups in any way, I just thought I'd share what information I've received. So don't ask me about them - I've just posted all I know about them.
