Please help me find my Top Box
I went on the Coast to Coast ride today, all went well untill we called in to Woodville on the way home to gas up and i noticed my top box was missing. It came off somewhere between the turn off to Akitio on Highway 52 (Pongaroa road) and Danniverke
It is a Givi V46 with a blue coloured plastic top. I had my mascott tied to it which is a blue and yellow lion with a large spring in between its head and tail. I had two pair of gloves in it that i desperatly need back, one a pair of Gortex Alpine Star and another pair of dryrider leather summer gloves, a puncture repair kit, a first aid kit and other small sundries.

Couldnt believe it had fallen off, gonna take the car and go search tomorrow, hopefully a good samaritan has picked it up and taken it to the police station

or some cocky has nailed it to a fence post to use as a mail box.

Gizza yell, i'll come for a ride if i'm not out on the bike (home ph mate, no cell coverage here), if it's in the long grass or down a bank you've got two shows of finding but you can but look eh, stranger things have happened.

i managed to find the camera when it jumped ship on Route 52 so you never know your luck

Bummer Monie, that sucks. Was talking to one of our MAG members today and told of riding off on his bike the day we went to Taupo with his very expensive mobile phone just sitting on his pack on the back of the bike. Said it stayed put till he went off the motorway. He ended up parking up and walking back down the off ramp collecting bits of his phone all over the road :pinch:

That tag is worthy of that rude lot down there :laugh:
