Sold finally! The guy that i sold it to kept going on at me saying hes not sure if he trusts me (even after buying it!) I seriously felt like telling him to take his money and f-- off. Too bad its time to downgrade however, so i kept my mouth shut. Gonna miss my honda :(

Its always good to be suspicious when buying privately but you don't exactly tell the seller you don't trust him.

yeah I thought it was pretty rude, especially since I take pride in being honest & trustworthy. He reckoned I wanted to get rid of it before it shat itself. Maybe he was just one of those buyers that winge about everything they can in an attempt to bring the price down.. who knows. He only paid 6100 for it, can't see why he was complaining. ah well, don't have to listen to him now.. so all good :)

haha doesn't sound too reassuring. I guess there's two sides to every coin, the guy that purchased my R6 a year or two ago paid $6000 into my account for it before he'd even seen the bike! good thing im honest.. theres a lot of people out there that would take full advantage of something like that

Sounds like a pain in the arse. Glad you made the sale, just hope he doesn't do something stupid to the bike and then expect some form of comeback.

I've dealt with morons like that before, and while there's nothing that can be expected of you, it's still a hassle you don't need.

These days I do tell 'em to fuck off. "You have only just met me, and have no reason to trust me, however now I don't trust you either, so take your money and go buy a bike from someone you feel you can trust. Good bye"

One reason why I can't be arsed with private sales these days.

cheers, hopefully there won't be a hassle. At least the deal is done, one less thing on the to do list.
