You don't see many of these around. It is the original R1 with low kilometres in the sought after red and white colours and is faster than a knife fight in a phone booth.
I will be sad to see it go and will be sorely missed. Selling it due to study next year as I will need something a bit more sensible...
Has a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT on the front (only 400km's or so, barely worn) and a Michelin Pilot Road 2CT on the back (200km's maximum, was $359 fitted). Both are virtually new and a really good match. Oil and filter changed at 14,900km's.
Chain and sprockets are fine as with everything else on the bike, what you expect for a bike with low kilometres. No modifications done to this bike.
Only a few very minor cosmetic issues. The fairing is slightly split around the side of the back and two tiny bits broken off around each mirror stem. I was told by last owner that this happened during shipping at some stage where it must have bumped against something while stationary in transit. Registration until 25/6/2011. WOF about to run out so new one next week.
You can see it has been looked after. Not raced etc. Heaps of info on the net about these bikes.
Will sell my red, white and black leather Rjays jacket for the right price. The usual no cash, no ride, you bail, you buy deal.
I have a paid carjam check somewhere and it's all kosher. Kilometres will keep ticking as it is my only transport at the moment. I have printed and pdf versions of the manual which I have never had to look at. No dreamers or test pilots please. Thanks for looking.
I'm willing to negotiate. :)
