"A Cosmopolitan magazine which included four pages of "nothing but breasts", found in the cell of murderer at Rimutaka Prison, was not pornographic and should not have been destroyed, the High Court at Wellington was told today."

Do the Courts not have better things to do. Why did THIS (http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/8499605/killer-goes-to-court-over-cosmo/) end up in court? Seriously, what kind of society even takes this sort of thing seriously?:facepalm::facepalm:

I wonder what that cost the taxpayer.

Seriously, what kind of society even takes this sort of thing seriously? One that doesn't hang convicted murderers publically.

Yeah .. it looks like PC overkill to destroy the magazine ... there are rules about what crims are allowed in their cells ... and it looks like the prison guards have been over-zealous ..

But the crims have the ability to seek reviewes of such things through the courts ... it's not the system it's the crim playing the system against itself ...

I'm pretty sure that, in the present climate, prison guards would look even less favourably on Machette's R Us than Cosmo ...

I wonder what that cost the taxpayer.

A little more than the cost of a lifetime Cosmo subscription for every prisoner in the country most likely...

I didn't think machettes are pronographic.

They're not .. but I'll bet there's stuff like "violent material" on the banned list ...

what no porn in prison????

Somebody tell the prisoners before someone gets caught.
I mean shit next you'll be telling me they will have to read books rather than watch t.v. - imagine how humane that would be.
Whats this world cumming too???
