Got me a new chrome/mirror tinted visor from Ebay for my Shoei RF-1100 (called the XR-1100 here in NZ) to replace the standard clear visor. Ended up costing $68NZD total to my door. Time from purchase to delivery was 7 days USPS from the USA. The fit quality and mould is just like the original even though this is not a Genuine Shoei-made product. It is easy to clean with dishwashing water and the chrome tint doesn't scratch easily or stay smeared. Vision through the visor is crystal perfect.

+ GOOD POINT: Can easily perv at chicks and not get snapped out.
- BAD POINT: Bugs still liquify on my visor even though it is chrome.

I'll put up a pic when the battery charges.

It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts scratch wise. The outside of my iridium (shoei) has lasted so much better than my HJC one but the pinlock on the inside is what's showing the "scratches".

Does it have have pinlock posts?

Bloody cheap and might have to look at one when I'm due for a replacement.

:violin: 4 month product update:

everyday use, still in top condition and not a mark on the visor. chrome finish is the same as new. not especially carefull with it either. gets cleaned weekly-ish with a drop of detergent in warm water. also use the microfiber shoei helmet bag to clean bugs off sometimes.

would recommend.

no experience with night riding.

I used my iridium visor for most of the summer, but i swapped back to my clear 1 yesterday because i thought i wouldnt be home before dark.... A hot chick begins to cross the road at the lights - treating it more like a catwalk than an intersection. I blatantly stare at her thinking im safe behind my visor. After she finishes crossing i glance at the cage next to me only to be met by a stern face  and a disapproving head shake from an old lady..... it was still worth it
