Hi fellow riders!
I'm all setup with my escort passport x50, and am having a nasty time trying to find a transparent shower cap. New world and Countdown carry them... with flourescent or opaque flowery patterns. Tempting as I'm sure it would look nice on my yellow firestorm....

Any recommendations auckland CBD or ponsonby area for finding a simple clear shower cap? :P

you could try Glad Handi-covers, from the supermarket. Basically the same as a shower cap and available in a few diff sizes.

Use a clear plastic bag - bung it on from the top and use an elastic band round the bottom to seal it. Works really well as you can pull the bag tight thru the elastic.
I use the same with ipod, so yes it does work.

I normally grab a couple of clear plastic bags from the meat section at Pack n Save....
Cost.... $0
Priceless

Condoms work a treat, thinner ones are better to see through... (they're useful for other things too :blip:)

Or buy one of the purpose-made plastic covers for the Escort from Radar Direct :innocent:

Condoms for an escort - must be a joke in there somewhere ...

Take your missus to a nice hotel for a night, and steal the shower cap from the bathroom.

You get to keep your radar detector dry, and get brownie points that can be converted into more riding time.

Win win situation.

Don't bother with the pressed covers, I found them crappy. Use a pelican case
