So groups 2 & 3 nearly full and group 4 well on the way.
Still room in group 1 at the moment.
Our Star Instructor this time is Nick Cole the current National 600 champion he is going to be on hand to anybody who wants to pick his brains. He will shortly afterwards heading down south to kick off his 2011 National campaign in the F1 class.

After all this hot dry weather it would be gutting for that Monday rain to arrive early! Yep, fingers crossed it stays fine. Overcast and cool would be nice.

Guys the forecast is if anything hotter than today so bring some sunscreen and plenty of water.
Still a few places left in group one so if you are borderline about coming, get over it and get out there you will thank yourself believe me.
Should be a fantastic day again as usual, capacity crowd out there, weather booked ahead and everyone ramped up for a great day.
See you all there.

I assume there is a tap or two we can refill water bottles from?

The water quality at the track is questionable - do not use it for human consumption.
Bring about 2l of bottled water for yourself to consume. Especially if it is hot like today.

Wow what a great day. As usual were were booked out again. This time we still had places in group 1, which is unusual but they were snapped up on the day to the point where it was the most difficult I have ever seen it to re-seed people in groups.
The day was hot and fairly still, only a couple of offs and no one hurt.
Neil won best instructor ( for those that want to put a face to him he's the guy videoing you all and usually smiling under his helmet right behind you).
Tania McGonagle won most improved rider after a consistent improvement and a very consistent ride.
Nick Cole was our celeb instructor and he was seen all over the groups giving advice and helping inspire. Even in group one guys were blown away as he explained that even at his level pushing to hard would slow you down and it smoothed them out amazingly.
There were a lot of grins all round as usual and I wait with great enthusiasm to see the comments come back (Link at the bottom of this page AMCC ART Day (http://www.amcc.co.nz/advanced-art)) and see how we can make it even better.
The next date fpr Pukekohe is April 17th, entry form available on the AMCC website. If you have noted a gap in March there is a reason and watch this space... we might have some news
Fantastic to see you all out there and what a fantastic day. A special thanks needs to go out to all the people that put their time into making this day for you, from the marshals that sat around all day in the heat and started earlier than all of you and finished later to the instructors and roving marshals that donate their time, bikes and tires to help you enjoy your day and become safer more competent riders. Thank you all I'm sure, as usual alot of the feed back with enforce how much you are appreciated.
and of course a very special thanks need to go out to the sponsor for this event, Cycle Treads (Northern Accessories) and Star insurance who not only provide so much assistance but always make sure they are there in so many other ways for you guys during the day.
One lass was asking how she could show her support after they helped her go from a no way day to a fantastic day (lending a hand with compulsory safety gear ).... The answer is of course put your money down when you next need something. After all you know they are going to look after you :niceone::niceone:
See you out there next time guys.

Does anyone have photos from the ART Day? Especially of Group 2? Other than Highside. I thought there was another photographer there on the day but could be mistaken.
Not overly impressed with Highside's pics this time round...

You can also try Damian Tomen’s Facebook site as he was also there taking photo's. Personally I thought our photographer was doing a pretty good job, but I guess you never get everyone appropriately.

Yep, very impressed with Group 1 again. The Instructors didn't have an ego and genuinely wanted to improve their riders. A good day to get out and meet some cool dudes.
Really want to pester Group 2 dudes next time :devil2: but these days are so popular!
