Lets see so far when I had the $ ready - earthquake - bike damage that swallowed the helmet $

Car accident (she who shall not be named) - excesses swallowed helmet $ mark 2.

Vet bill for cat with broken pelvis and dislocated rear leg - helmet $ mark 3 & 4!

A family holiday in Jan will eliminate any chance of there being helmet $ until February and by then I'll be up for a pair of new tyres :facepalm: Rego in April ....:shutup:
