Oh, I dunno, the new owner doesn't have to spend a lot of money on it to make it legal... What's another few hundy...? :innocent:

For the price of a brand new 2011 sports bike you can get a 12-year old one with 12-year old technology...

I will never understand people who pay good money for legacy technology. Each to their own I guess

Cant believe anybody will pay that much for an old TLS new or not,i would love to find a new one at reasonable money i would snap it up in a flash.Personally i will never understand people who pay good money for any of the last few years superbikes purely to be ridden on the road fwiw.

Good bike, but hardly a classic worth anything like that kind of cash!

If I was a multi millionaire living in Monte Carlo, I'd pay anything for a 1950s Porsche, or a 1964 911.

But that TLS, like someone said above, is no classic... yet.

latest issue of classic bike magazine (aka investment bike magazine) picking future classics

amongst the bikes picked are the TL suzuki's

smart money would be to buy a good one now

along with the TL are 916 ducati and early 900 monster - for once classic bike have actually got it right

That blokes selling a whole lot of new/old stuff - they have a brand new 2002 GSX1400 that they want ~10K Pounds for.
