Ol Choppa impressed my dad no-end. He wasn't aware it was a boxer until it was pointed out to him. He just had to go and have a chat, lol...
This was at the end of the first stint.

Show some respect for your boss son.
That was Bobby Ramshaw that pulled out that scorcher. :woohoo:
I wanna know who dialed in the C map on Raj's K9..... Couldn't even hang with your HP Sauce twin down the back straight :gob:

It was only fair that we used C mode to give the others a bit of a chance.

Jeez Raj, you've always gotta take shit to the extreme though.....
-Playing in the sand for a minute on lap 1 (or 2??)
-Making a pit stop 90 minutes later cause you had cramp (cripes - you're a flexible chap - I hope you gave your helmet lining a wash when you got home)

I think that F1 light that was flashing at us for 3 hours might have had something to do with it too....
Oh, did you ever find that gear lever that snapped off in the last 20 minutes?
We didn't do too bad though considering your bike was standard (well, it was before we started breaking shit on it)

All I see are a lot of excuses from someone who probably hasn't been riding motorcycles all that long.
I'm assuming you were the No.2 rider (red leathers) on the 87 bike. What I witnessed was a lot of uncoordinated, ham-fisted inputs on the bike resulting in a painful display of riding. It's no wonder lights started flashing and bits fell off!
You should thank your lead rider for his sublime display of racecraft, it's this that got you to 2nd.
In my expert opinion, you should purchase a bucket racer and learn to race a motorcycle with finesse, before trying your hand at racing anything bigger.

Think your forgeting the missing nut that held the top of the rear suspension linkage on! We lost that too haha. Bit of a muppet session wasn't it! All good fun though.

No CHOPPA, I don't know who he is. The way he wobbled his way around the Taupo track, he was clearly out of his depth.
I'd have to agree with Biggles08, their pitstops were good. The gentleman in the red and black shirt, who was in charge of pouring the benzine into the tank, was the other significant reason why they got 2nd.
