1988 honda cbr400 racebike. i have had this bike for just over a year. will come with a spare motor and some other bits and pieces. has dunlop sportmax tires, the rear has only done about 3 race meets and a trackday. brand new ebc brake pads done one race meet. comes with the race stand. any questions just ask and i will try my best to answer them. one good motor is currently being built out of the spare and the one that was in the bike.
any serious offer will be considered

stick a 600 motor in it and use it for posties jnr like what steve has done

i race a zxr400, there a problomatic beastie....ive blown a crank and dropped 2 valves so far...

Why the hell do you want a kwaka Jeff ?? They are costly race machines.

yea mate i saw that it was your old race bike.

the zxrs are a great bike but they are high maint and for the money a 600 in the 400 frame is a far better option for posties jnr.

they put out more power standard than the zxr450 and less maint eh.


ill be racing my zxr this year all going well, its only got the standy motor in it though so wont be very competitive unfortunatly :( hoping for a top 5 finish this year at vic

make an offer. the bike died at manfield to day. stripping it down over the next couple of days to see what damage was done

What would it cost to get a 600 motor for it? (Seeing as it's broke the 400 would be a good time etc).

If it is knocking then i bet its number 2 big end and the oil is to blame .

no knocking. its locked solid. oil is castrol mineral 10w40

im actually seriously considering 600s at this stage. i just need to get some money together first. if you still got it in a couple of months i would probably get it. would you sell without the spares?

we are now in the process of rebuilding it. using most of the top end off the spare motor on the one out of the bike.
