If there is such a thing....
This is as much for my interest as anything else as I'm not really interested in this era but fascinating tech and style. One wonders if these will be future classics (I suspect not)

Someone loves UJM's,just not me.I do like those Honda customs though...but would only take one as a gift.

Those early V4's gave a lot of trouble with the camshafts pitting. The rear cylinders were supposed to be half a days work just to get at the valves. I think the 500's were the best of them. A nice handling bike,

I had a VF500F once. Lovely bike, only thing that let it down was the crap rear shock.
Nice smooth creamy V4 with good torque for a 500.

Nope, the only problems were on the earlier chain driven cam V4's, the gear driven cam engines (VF1000R was first of them) were good bits of gear. The GPZ900R was a better bike from most accounts but the VF1000R is most definitely collectable.
