Bit of a distance issue but what about young Daniel Mettam?
he's dedicated/committed and has an uncanny ability of being able to feed back what he is 'feeling' out on the track. Its a dad and son enterprise at the moment and this lad has talent.

Hey Graham, is Daniel the young fulla from the Auckland area I have been hearing good things about on a 125 at the moment?

Yep that's the one mate.
First had a skid on Avalon's spare bike at the end of last season and hasn't looked back since!

Young Sam Croft is a definately a rider who needs a go on a well prepped bike that handles...... very impressive on the KR150 when we saw him earlier in the year at Manfield ( and in a league of his own in the wet)
Plenty of streetstock riders in the south..... the support races in the nats will bring out the shining stars of this year.
Matt Hoogie...... his career path is probebly sorted!
Blake henwood-Sparks....already on a 125 too
Phillip Mair... From down in Winton ...maybe on a superlight 250!
Alex Bowers.... a north islander ( but an honarary southie)
And not forgetting the ladies Scout Fletcher who has been on of the best improvers this season.
And lets not forget Seth Deveruex a hugely talanted young guy who really deserves some backing ( gotta make him see sense and ride something that isnt a kwaka)
If you are down south for the nats Marty this will be the class where your next young hopeful will live.

I have been helping out Andrew (18) and Sam (17) Croft for the last few years. And it's been a pleasure to see them develop as riders.
Their Dad David also has been racing the 150’s, but I know is having to sell his bike to fund the boys further. They have brought One broken EX250 for one of the boys to ride in the winter series.
The other one, - I am trying to come up with a ride for. Maybe my Hyosung ride.
In my opinion, Both these boys are ready for 125’s. And this would be a much better class for them to be in to develop there race craft than Pro lites.
There Family doesn’t have the resources. My Business doesn’t yet have the resources, but I will do what I can to help. (RideLife has already committed to help/sponsor another new rider to the 150 class for this year).
Daniel is a good rider, but already has a GP125 bike he has been racing, along with his KR150, and other bikes if I am not mistaken.
I will ask the Croft Boys to send you a CV for your consideration.
But whoever you choose – Thank you for your input into the sport.
Cheers.
Racey.

i have a nephew is a natural, but has mostly moto-x experience
he would be over the moon if you gave him the chance to try out, my feeling is he's got the attitude and general all round skill set (and the right parents to back him) that deserves a chance
can we hook up a trial for him?

Yup,
Those Croft boys are pretty good....
I would put my CV forward, but there are a couple of factors precluding me from doing this.... The biggest one is I'm 17 with 22 years experience..... ;)
