I know this is a long shot, but ya never know...
PM me if you fit the bill. :niceone:
EDIT: a bit of python is in there too, but that shouldn't need editing/changing.

Long shot?
That reads like an agency advert.
You know, 38 qualifications required for job that pays $12,000 pa.

Hopefully your not trying to run MySQL on MacOSX as that's a bad combo for any site with more than 2 visitors.

Yeah well, our 'guru' went and got employed and there's some fixing that's beyond me needed. :wait:

Where did you get that idea?

Well it's because of the way MacOSX handles threads. You might not notice it with 10 visitors, but because it takes 10x longer to create new threads than any other OS does as you increase the server load (not the same as CPU load) above the 100 sessions per second mark it makes it 10x worse than any other server operating system. Which is very noticable to say the least.

I'll say that this is getting beyond me a bit; for what we need it to do it's fine.
Oh yeah, there's a bit of python in the 'job description' too.
Where's your PM to me?

Surely there's someone who can do this stuff? If the student we had hadn't finished his course and got employed it'd be done.

I've done a bit of all of those, but don't have any time at the moment really. Already got one part time job. Also Been helping my flatmate get a website a float to sell stuff on (as opposed to stealme) at the moment.
