Scooter rides - Wellington?

is there any body in wellington kapiti area interested in doing a few rides around the area i did the akatarawa hill rd from waikanae to the hutt and back on a 50cc scooter then the paekakariki hill
looking to do more rides like that if any bodys intrested

Sounds like that was a good ride! That akatarawa hill rd looks like fun as is paekakariki hill. Arent they 70 or 80km roads? Are you fine on a 50cc on those roads?

I had the day free today, so I did a long scoot ride. I went from welly CBD up to Porirua, got lost in Whitby, then went over to Whitireia park reserve near Titahi bay before heading home. That, and the old stand by of touring the bays of wellington are my two long distance rides to choose from. I really wish there were a way to get to lower hut, but I'd have to be on a 100km road for a km or two, so thats out of the question.

i went from paraparaumu to tawa today it was a good ride

as for rideing on a 100kph area i know that you can do it from Porirua heading north with out haveing the red a blue lights flashing you
im planing on going for a ride to wellington cbd on the 19th of march if the weather is anything like today

it will make it up doing about 30 -40 kph

Plenty of bicycles and scooters do that stretch of road every day. What's the problem?

Bicycles are a LOT faster than mopeds!
