this is what DV looked on Momday. I have never been up there before and was impressed and am planning to go back soon. Cant make it this weekend

Was thinking about it until I remembered I'd get hit with the great pilgrimage of holiday traffic back to AK. Is it open during the week?

My first time up there, so not 100% sure on directions, but I've driven past it a couple of times and it's not hard to spot the sign if you keep your eyes peeled. On the left if you're heading from Warkworth to Wellsford (I think?).

Last week it was a bit rutty, but pretty good. There is one new jump apparently thats a double that has caught a few people out.

Yeah someone popped their shoulder out on that sort of double today. In truth it's not too hard, I wasn't quite clearing it most of the time but it didn't cause any problems.

Was pretty well groomed today, a couple of the faster guys were complaining there wasn't enough ruts at the beginning of the day... I wasn't one of them.

The MX track is great though, I'm a trail and enduro rider and kind of have a love/hate relationship with most MX tracks, but this one is cool, short enough to work on the corners and jumps, forgiving enough in most places to push harder than I normally do on MX stuff. Definitely recommend.

Enduro loop was a little short and a bit too easy, even on the difficult sections, but still had fun.

what was the mx track like?

I was up there today for the first time, really enjoyed the mx track nice layout easy jumps, once you get a know of the track ya can start pushing it faster and faster,the dust was a bit of a bummer though when to many bikes on the track,the enduro loop was alright although a bit to short.:niceone:

Was out there today too. Thought it was a bit shit, I'm sure it could be better with whats there.
