Have you tried to contact Steve & Ali Reynolds 021-778882 (wellington) as per the websites instructions?

I see you have a 2010 T Bird. Did you buy it through a Triumph dealer? The only reason I ask is that when I bought my Street Triple in October 2009 from Hamilton Motorcycles, they automatically registered me for RAT. I didn't realise until the first copy of the international Triumph magazine arrived. Thought that it was maybe a standard procedure for Triumph dealers.

I joined the RAT NZ website recently but my experience so far is that nothing much happens on it and isn't really worthwhile.

Might be worth following up as the Triumph mag is free and pretty good.

Thanks for the TOMCC heads-up. Will join. Had a Honda Blackbird for 8 years prior to the Triumph so not up to date with Triumph happenings.

Use the uk site to do it online, don't select NZ as the country in the options

Yes Triumph NZ are really on the ball and actively promote Triumph throughout NZ NOT. They couldn't promote a pissup in a brewery.
You did the right thing joining the TOMCC Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club. Great bunch of guys and gals especially the President :-) They have 500+ members NZ wide.

It is for most.
BUT you have to re-register Nov/Dec every year to keep getting the mag. Its easy, just a tick box on the website if your details havent changed.

You're are right there, not enough Gen Ys to keep it ticking over:laugh:

Cheers Sels!

I bought my Triple in Oct '09 and haven't re-registered yet but am still getting the mag which is probably the last one I'll get if I don't do something about it. Thanks for the heads-up. :niceone:

I've been with the Franklin TOMCC for four years and have attended regional meets and National Rallies. TOMCC are active, well organised, friendly and passionate. All makes are welcome - there's no elitism or egotism. Rode with Auckland RAT a few times and didn't like it. Too many cocks on the road and no 'feeling' as a group - more a bunch of mid-lifers with this month's toy. I stay registered just to recieve the Triumph Mag :niceone:

The luggage doesn't look too bad. Is the vinyl double/triple stitched? I may be interested. I will need to get the sissy bar rack though.
I bought some Thunderbird leather panniers just before Xmas, they look good & the price here wasn't too bad (they had knocked them down from the ridiculous original price of $1399 down to $999, which is comparitive to the US$629 price by the time exchange rate, freight, GST etc is added. Best to get the rails/mounts from the US though at only US$169, they are way overpriced at $599 here!)
