Out of curiosity, are you dyno-tuning it for a general tune up or because you've replaced the CDI?

red barron did a full service and dyno tune for me for a reasonable price.
To get it on a couple of dyno runs would prob only cost you a hundy?

Real? yeah i recently installed a new exhaust, so my bike is running a little bit leaner than before as well. i dont really need a service, just a tune, serviced not too long ago (3-4 months). ill give em an email.

Well errr probably want to give them a call about that. As my bike went in fucked and came out awesome.......but had enough tuning a parts chucked at it to buy a new bike.
I think from recall the "full service - including dyno" part was only $400
fyi my total bill was just shy of $2500 - but it had been in there for almost a month with the guys working on it.....

you wont get any change out of five hundy at triple zee, and that is if you can get an apointment, might be even more if you have a carbed bike.

For around 5 hundy, zzz will have it running spot on, his tuning methods are a little different, but it is a brake dyno.I had a honda at the time so it had to be tuned using a power commander, which they can work with.

I would assume if I don't yet have Power Commander then nothing can be done?
(i.e., nothing can be done to the OEM ignition)

Depends on bike. Tuneboy for example goes into your ECU, no extra stuff like PC required.

YES! just got a Dyno done for my CBR MC19.
At 17,500RPM - 32.6hp at the rear wheel, 44hp at the crank. Top speed 242kph, smooth straight line to the top and running like a beaut!

Where did you get it done and how much did it cost?
Who knows someone in Auckland who can tune an 06 ZX6R without power commander?
thanks
