mint if it its anthing like the Big hill station one you should enjoy it. I did big hill one and my riding skills on a a 1 to 10 scale with 10 being best 1 being worse would be 1.

Keep an eye out for the sherwood/makaretu/ashley clinton one, usually in feb/march sometime I think. Is supposed to be one of the better ones as it has plenty of different terrain, a river/gully section starts off on my old mans farm. I haven't done it personally though, prefer the MX scene; you can see my track along the route actually, just look out for the mini FMX ramp!

Did it last year when they had a 100mm of rain the day or two days before, made it a fun ride with plenty of mud to be sprayed around.
Its pretty easy ride really, nothing as such to catch you out and marked out well so you know where your going, they had hard/easy splits, but really the hard aint too hard except for one steep hill I remember, went up it in the morning but wasnt too keen to go down it in the afternoon. It caught a few people out though!
Bushriders have their cross country on the same day, so guessing the fast guys will head there as last year the cross country was cancelled so some of the guru's turned up. They had a 10km loop open at lunch which was good fun to pound out some laps.
If i get my bike sorted out in time, look out for a YZF with 184 on it and come say hi.

Thats good to hear, if it was to rain heavily there would it make the ride a lot harder and less enjoyable? This will be my first trail , thats why im asking.
