they usually put the price out of reach when they have already sold it, to ride out the trademe auction, coz trademe goes ape shit if you cancel auctions.

they deduct $$ from your account if you withdraw a auction, you dont have any say my youngest bow put his psp up feor auction, one of my older sons came back from working away for a couple of weeks and said he would buy it for the reserve price so he agreed (no bidders or watchers) it was going to cost $3.00 to withrraw it so we put the reserve up to $500 so no one would bid on it
