I know what you mean.
Last year there were lots in the Vic races, this year theres about 3!!
Where have they gone???
These are the best bikes to learn to race on, teach you corner speed, hard braking and race craft!
And shit! they are bloody fast!
I would love to race one, but am far too tall!
Looks like great fun.

I've destroyed any resale value I might've had with the CBR, so I can't sell it to buy anything else. Maybe when I finally get a job I might save up for a 125

With the pace you had when on the track, i can say that you have what it takes to be a great gp racer.
Go hard mate!!

You can buy parts made for racing to put the seat back for taller riders I'm pretty tall. My problem is the bike is set up for how Jay raced it and I dont have the same style so I have been putting rear brake on in corner all by mistake.
How tall are you sparky?? I'm 6 foot and whilst it isn't an armchair it isn't uncomfortable. Biggest problem I have is getting nutted on the tank when i go to brake. Alot of people go on about how small they are etc but thats bollix imo, I know a guy that weighs over 100kg down here that races his pretty competitively and also heard of 6 foot 4+ guys riding them.

I have sat on k14's one and I am about 6 foot as well, just a little less comfortable that the NC. Still to have a go on it though

Have to agree there. I'm 6ft and double the weight of Danny Pedrosa, but I still manage to hike on my CB150T that is no bigger than a 125GP bike. And when you're out there having fun, you don't realise who small the bike is anyway.

Dunno if this is the reason why 125s aren't racing but I've generally not raced in winter because a) it's winter and who wants to drive for 4 hours/spend $300 only to be cold & wet and b) gives me a chance to re-cover some racing funds and rebuild my bike. Racing all year round just takes up too much of my time & money.
I think a lot of club racers are fair weather/seasonal racers for this reason. Might be why a few 125s are taking a break.
