I just got a text "congrats your mobile number has won 500,000 pounds [don't know where the pound sign is] in the free lotto mobile promo. For claims contact uk claims office: [website given as well as contact ph no in uk]"

Awwwww, c'mon, who's going to be first to burst my happy bubble and tell me it's all a scam...:weep:

No no, it's not a scam. I got that one too and it's real.

However - mine said we can both double our prize amount - if we send a small deposit from 2 credit cards.

I'm happy to do this on your behalf. Can you PM me your credit card details? :facepalm:

If you're worried about it being a scam, I could do it for you and split the winnings, just send me your address, phone number, bank account details, credit card number and full name and date of birth.

That way you have nothing to worry about as I would do it myself.

It's also probably a good idea if you include a signed deed for your house. So they can verify that it's you, being the winner, and not some random stranger claiming your prize. Just write my name as the recipient.

That "link" was an E.mail address to a free Windows live E.mail address ... NOT a web site as such. NOT the sort of E.mail address a company as large as CCS would have ...
