Attached is a pic of a bike belonging to a mate of Joni's back in SA. The recent accident went something like this: "High speed, in the rain... lost the arse...high sided... now in hospital...hurt pretty bad..." :doctor:

I hope Graham isn't hurt too bad and that he recovers quickly Jo. Please give him our best wishes. :niceone:

Whoever can identify the make & model of this bike will receive a prize! But only ONE guess per member. :oi-grr:

Shit I hope the dude is gonna be ok....

Ummmm now what ever that bike was... it had one hell of a big gas tank.

I hope the bike was insured, cos that sure is one written off bike.

Was it a big tank, or has it "ballooned" when it exploded. I think they can do that ?

Silver colour, maybe a gixxer thou.

Different colour of bikes goes to different countries....

IE: My bike is black and white and it was meant to go to America or Canada...
they sent the wrong crate to NZ... so it means that there is a maroon and black virago travelling around america somewhere.

Funny thing the bike is not silver - flames stripped most of the paint work...

You sure? The frame doesn't look like that from what I can tell

It looks very much like a CBR. The tank, frame and sub frame all look very similar to mine. Although I'm no expert

Did the guy walk away from this? Break any bones?

If it's not this then it's a 03/04 636You are now automatically disqualified from even a remote chance of the prize! I specifically 'commanded' that it was ONE guess per member...sheeeesh. :nono:

The Thread Lord has spoken.

Ps. wasn't a 636 either.

A CBR1100xx Blackbird by chance??? (NB: frount guard, belly pan side fairing?)Correct, a late model one too! *Prize duely awarded*

The Blackbird owner should be able to recognise the chassis & the shape of the muffler in the background.

Thanks D... It was hard the first 2 days, sitting here while he was in surgery... but all is good now that I have spoken with him and have heard for myself he is ok.

Guys - Graham was riding at a seriously fast pace - as we all know cars and road conditions can be unpredictable... Take care out there. :ride:
