Leave it on or take it off, it rattles and carries on, any bad juju if I take it off and leave it off?

I removed mine ages ago and I haven't had any trouble without it

Sweet. 2 outa 2 ... there is a patten forming here, be gone with it!!

Mine was ripped or knocked or fatigued out of the frame while previous owner had it so we removed Janets one when we got her bike then stuck a cap screw in the hole.
No issues with either bike since... but I still got a jagged hole in my frame where it once was.
That's 3/3.

Everything you read in ADV rider says no problems taking it off. The chain never gets anywhere near anything it can wreck. Ive just taken mine off :niceone::facepalm:

My old one had a jagged hole in the frame. Was there when I purchased it. Didn't remove in time.

Removed roller on mine 7 filled hole with RTV. My last DR that is now TA's, had a jaged hole when I got the bike at 3000km.

So I should say mine was ripped or knocked or fatigued out of the frame while previous owners previous owner had it, :confused: or previous owner *2 or perhaps just the first or original owner :blink:.
