"estimated 50km adventure ride"

any idea if it is an "adventure" ride or the usual hilly/rutty/muddy trail ride?

Not a clue. I'm at the property just down the road and unless we get ALOT of rain this week, mud will be the least of your problems. I do know the track is being laid out over I think it is 3 properties by one of the bike shops in town so it is being done by riders

yeah i looked at this on silver bullet a few days ago and also wondered if it's an adventure ride or a trail ride?

here's a map of the area for anyone interested anyways. The "A" is the address for the ride, given on silver bullet
229080

i've emailed dion, the contact on silverbullet, let you know what he says.

although wises and google maps have it at 2 and a half hours away (but they both take a sort of indirect route) which is just about my limit for a one day, don't know if it's any good or not ride.

This is the area it is in. As far as we know it is a trail ride (we are marshalling somewhere). The whole Bideford community is behind this and it is for a great cause. If the landscape is anything like out place then it will be a spectacular day.

There may be extra facilities at our place for KBer's

Yup. Has been light rain for last 2 days. Should make it a good dust free zone.

Keen to come over with Mini-me. Forecast looks like rain again tomorrow.... Any chance of a "head out the window" weather report tomorrow morning?:niceone:

Right now we have clear sky...no wind or rain...mist yes...don't be fooled by weather in town or out of town...we are in a valley here so what we see on the ranges is not what we get here!

nope, not much dust :)

damn that would have been a good blast in the dry.

everyone must have stayed in bed but sux to be them coz it was a pretty good ride, greasy on a couple of the hills but once you got used to your rear wheel trying to pass you it was fun.

some pics @ http://www.kaseus.net/gallery/jayden-kilmister-memorial-trail-ride-110123

camera makes it sort of look like a lovely summer day but it was raining. for the whole ride.
