Who is/are the fuckwit(s) that got a key to the track and let all of their big bike boyfriends in and ride for free and with no signed indeminity? They were seen by a high up kart club member and now that privilege is gone.
Thanks for fuck all. A lot of people went to a lot of trouble and time to get that set up with the kart club.
Those involved should at the least, be publicly named, shamed and embarrassed!

This kind of shit sucks and is one of my major concerns with our use of the Kart Club track here in Wellington. It took a lot of years and hard work and us tip-toeing about to try and gain their trust and all it takes is a couple of wankers who don't give a flying fuck about anyone but themselves to fuck it for everyone. Hope the fur doesn't fly too hard up there for you guys, losing the use of the track for practice would blow.

Just to make all those out of towner's aware, although this has only just been made aware of in a thread, the incident in question happened and the restrictions as a result have been in place for about 6 months now.

Its shit, especially given the person that carried out the actions probably doesn't give a shit or realise the problem he has caused

Dutchee

It's not a super recent thing, as in was a while back, from what I've been told. It would be nice to be able to go during the week sometimes, to figure if what was wrong with the bike has been fixed or whether to look further.

Done's done, but ensure your guys/gals down there follow whatever rules the kart club have for mid-week practice and the consequences of what can happen if one of them f's it up. Lynch mob threat could always be good, but hopefully not required.

Is that because no one has confronted this person?

Even worse it wasn't to gain the trust of the karts, it was regaining the trust of the karts as this is the second time that the races are now held at the kart track - the previous time took a lot of work on behalf of Nudemetalz to undo.

This we all know too well, hence the tip-toeing about and being on our bestest behavior..... I was trying not to dredge up the past by mentioning it though as things have settled down and they seem quite pleased to have us and the spectators back.

He has been confronted by JC and still hasn't done anything about it, it is below him. I wouldn't mind betting JC will have the last word, it just might take time, the right place right moment if you catch my drift.

I ride a Superbike and have lots of kids. Wasn't me though.

The fact that no one's prepared to put their money where their mouth is and puplicly name the perpetrator indicates that it's all heresay as to what actually transpired and who's really responsible.

Nice one mate.
Now, WHO IS THE BUCKET RACER THAT LET HIM IN???

Now, WHO IS THE BUCKET RACER THAT LET HIM IN???

Exactly my point. Why would Mr Stroud have keys to the bucket track? I haven't seen him at any meetings or in any results. Someone, trying to win friends, has said "Hey I've got a key to the kart track, should we go for a burn?"

That's who should be fucken shot.

Andrew has been to a few bucket meetings, on Sat anyway. He's had a son with him who isn't too bad. Andrew fell off for the first time in quite a few years at Mt Wgtn. I haven't seen him for a while though.

Maybe because he is not welcome due to his stupid actions.
A rider of his class and standing, both local and national, should fucking well know better.
I hope the AMCC takes appropriate action against him, whoever the key holder was that let him in and anyone else involved in this totally stupid event!

Actually I am quite surprised that, if this actually happened 6 months ago as someone else posted, it has taken this long to be talked about here.
I only heard about it as my mate recently joined the AMCC, asked about the weekday use of the track and was told that priviledge was withdrawn by the kart club because of 4 or so dickheads.

think maybe his status went to his head. Or just wasn't thinking at the time.

It'd be pretty easy to think oh he has the key, it must be ok.

Just saying, probably not strouds fault, more so the person that let him in.

EDIT - *MIGHT NOT be his fault

The way it worked was

You went to a local business
You sighned a discalimer
They loaned you a key
Anyone else riding also had to go and sign a disclaimer

It was the last point where it all fell over.

Dutchee

He comes along sometimes, and was there a couple/few months back on the Saturday so his boy could go for a ride. Can't remember when, but do recall seeing him there.

the discalimer and the fact that a much bigger bike was being ridden around the track

I saw a 250cc bike on trademe being sold with a picture of the YOUNG guy ridding around Mt Wellington (he was short and older than stroudy's son)

:weird:makes you think that it may have been more than one person involved :blank:

Much bigger bike without nylon crash protection to save the track from damage in the case of a spill, just a well known wanker being thoughtless ............

Cobblers! He knows the rules and he has done the same thing a few years ago and was lucky not to be nicked for tresspass.

The BUCKET PERSON who let A.S. and his mates in should also be named and shamed and imo banned from the track to show the kart club the Bucket contingent of the AMCC's stance in this matter.

It is douchebags like these guys that make the rest of us look bad.

TZ350
27th January 2011, 16:28
.

No Bucket person involved, I understand he let himself and a few friends in. easy to do, just front up to the key holders, claim to be a Bucket rider wanting to do some testing/practice, pay the $20, sign the paper and get a key.

Go to the track and if your a fuckw---t act like a loon, hog the track so the kart guys who turn up can't get on and let a your mates have a blast with their road bikes.

They trusted the Bucket crowd to share with the karters, respect the track and do the right thing, thats changed now...........

Kendog

If it wasn't bucket races being fwits, why are they getting the blame and being punished.

We had a similar incident not long ago where some bike riders were not letting kart people on the track. Turned out they were not bucket riders, just had a key or were friends with or raced karts themselves.
End result was no issue with the bucket group.

So why is this situation being treated differently.

Henk
27th January 2011, 18:32
Because the incident in question did involve a bucket racer. Albeit one that doesn't seem to turn up any more.

How about hearing from the accused and his side?

Once we have is it possible if required for some sort of consequences like;

Loss of racing license for 3 months.

Loss of competition points.

Black flagged for a year.

Publicly denounced.

Contacting his sponsors and ask them if they are happy sponsoring someone who is willing to ruin it for a lot of other people.

I look at it this way, had I done something inappropriate on a big track which effected him and his mates all shit would hit the fan.

So sad to read this thread. I would have loved to rock up to the kart track any time for some fun. Fuck, what a pity.

Anything that can be done to gain back trust?

I guess I am not making my point clear what i am trying saying is if a biker is doing wrong the karting guys are not going to define you guys as being different.A bike is a Bike to most of them. The clear message that needs to be sent is you the buckets are not associated with this guy.His actions offend you as buckets and you the bucketeers think he should be excluded.the Tresspass notice is the clearest message I can think of,
