I was looking for any info on where I could purchase a manual for my RF900 online... and I ... umm... stumbled across this site.

I haven't looked at all the links in here but there seems to be a lot of legit/online documentation that some of you may find useful!

At the bottom of the page there are even more links that point to more sites that possibly (although unlikely) have useful stuff too...

Over to you lot.

Happy trails

No worries.

I started printing out the RF900 manual last night and the photos are naff, hard to get good detail out of but all else is good.

I know what you mean about pdfs though - the bastard is just 450 pages of images on the pages too so no text searching... I guess I'll need to use it like a regular book!

All the easier to read when you have a spanned in the other hand though eh?

Dont think they exist at least in English. The 400s came out in the UK new so that's why they have manuals.

I had a quick look around the web and found this...

... and this...

Neither of them is exactly what you are after - but not a bad start. The second one might be the ticket. Failing that ring a Honda Shop and ask for the service manual part number - then order one?

Good luck

JACKPOT!

I have not downloaded it but... check this out (actually it is one of the link in the 2nd webpage I referred you to)...

http://www.cr-x.org/cbr250/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10300

It is a bit of a mission... and his instructions are NOT clear... but here's how to do it.

1) go to the link above and make a note of the logins and their corresponding passwords (i.e. login = "cbr250manual1" and the password is "rightnextdoortohell")

2) Click on the email inbox - and you will see an email in there with an attachment - and guess what - it is part 1 of the manual :-)

3) Open the email you find in there.

4) Click "scan and Download Attachment" and save the attachment into a directory you have dedicated to the manual files (put all the files you will download into here)

5) Repeat steps 2 to 4 for all parts 2 through 7 (you should have already downloaded part 1)

6) The last file downloaded should be a manual download - and a batch file "CBR250_v.bat". There will be a warning come up on your pc saying "this type of file can harm"... etc. For convenience I have included the contents of that file at the end of this posting. For those of you that can't read it - don;t worry... it is simply joining all the bits together and changing the name of that file to be suitable for the software needing to open it.

7) Open the manual and fix your bike!

===The batch file===

@ECHO OFF
Copy /b "CBR250 v.1" + "CBR250 v.2" + "CBR250 v.3" + "CBR250 v.4" + "CBR250 v.5" + "CBR250 v.6" + "CBR250 v.7" "CBR250 v.pdf"
@ECHO CBR250 v.pdf has been recreated for you.
