Hey guys, for sale is my Honda RVF400 NC35.
I've spent $1500 on it in the last 6 months to bring it up to an excellent standard. This includes:
- New battery
- New spark plugs ($60 each - top quality)
- New fuel tap (known to fail on older Hondas, so replaced at a cost of over $500 for the tap itself)
- New fork seals and oil.
- New headrace bearings.
- New handgrips.
Plus the discs and chain/sprockets were replaced very few kms ago by the previous owner and are in very good condition). The rectifier has been upgraded and aftermarket baffling installed in the muffler. It sounds great.
Brand new WOF.
Contact me on 021646456 if you're interested.
P.S. Title was an obvious mistake as I was thinking of its larger, more impressive brother, the RC45. This is an NC35

Shit! I took the picture pre-wheel clean by accident...
But the new buyer will recieve the bike in extremely clean condition.

Shame I don't have a few dollars lying around. I always wanted an RVF, both the little version and the two bigger versions. That looks like a stunner.

seems high in the price range for the amount of ks, that is the price you would pick it up from a stealership for.

Do you reckon? The cheapest I've ever seen one was $5200 and it needed work. But then again they don't come up much so it's hard to tell. Plus a stealership would have shinkos on it..:nono: You might well be right though, and I am open to offers.
In any case I've poured money into this to make it really good, and whoever buys it will get a great bike.

What are you talking about? K's don't mean shit and this looks mint as. You would not even get a NC30 for this price in a stealership... This is a very fair price.
This is Honda at it's finest.
Take some better pics of it buddy.

The cheapest I've ever seen one was $5200 and it needed work. Cheapest one i saw was in Wellington last year and it went for $4500 i believe. Looked in good condition as well.
I thought this bike only just sold the other month on TM.

Nah I had decided to keep it for the holiday period to use it, though I did have a few offers which I almost accepted. Since then I've dropped the price/taken better pictures etc so people might be more interested.

the last time I rang those pricks on a current TM listing it was "Yeah nar we've just sold it" Bull shit. they just rolled the listing to get punters to contact them so they could cross sell them something else that was stupidly overpriced. Oh , hi, you rang about the RVF400, we've just sold it, but I can do you a hell deal on a mint VT750 bagger. Fuckers.

NC30 vs NC45 though CS.NC35, and yes I know the OP has it wrong also.
Kms are high, but that's probably because they're honest... $5500 is good money for one of these, $4500 is probably fairer though.

Crap, that was a mistake. I was thinking about the RC45 when I was writing up the ad and how much I would kill to have one.
