Hi guys - I'm sure there a few people who are interested in seeing these guys play again, as they are simply outstanding!
The Pink Floyd Experience are a Wellington based group, who are very, very good at recreating the classic Pink Floyd sound - I've seen them 4 times before & they put one hell of a great show!
Go to this site, for all of the their tour dates:

I saw the real thing at western springs. I might go to this. Just have to decide whether to go to Auckland or Hamilton.

I guess it was a while ago since I saw them. I'm sure it was $25 then.
They were very good though!

Albeit - it was minus Roger Waters @ Western Springs though. :niceone:
Speaking of Roger Waters, if I may retract from the main subject of this thread for a little while - I saw him perform DSOTM, plus may other Pink Floyd classics & some of his own on January 29 2007 @ North Harbour Stadium, which was so absolutely amazing - the sound quality was just incredible!
My wife & and I are off to see Roger Waters perform The Wall - LIVE! at Manchester Arena on May 20 this year, as part of our European Tour, it's going to be so incredible!
Here are some Video Highlights from that show, taken from Rogers Facebook profile - I urge you all to take a look at them, they are short teasers, mostly less than 2 minutes:

I've heard some very strong rumours, from reliable sources that Roger Waters may be bringing this tour to New Zealand, later this year!
I only hope - that he doesn't - perform at shithole Vector Arena - known in New Zealand to have the worst acoustics ever!

I would be happy to burn some airpoints (and twice as many brownie points) to get to Sydney or Melbourne for such an event.

That would be a good idea - I've been to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre to see the Eagles perform their Farewell 1 Tour & there were no issues with the acoustics there.
I would imagine that Melbourne & Sydney arena's would also be good, acoustically speaking.
It's pretty fucked up though - when you have to travel overseas - because the venues in New Zealand just simply aren't up to scratch & sound like a giant echo chamber - aka Vector Arena!! :weird:
