1991 Yamaha TZR 250 3XV
This bike has been a a lot of fun to ride. However, for the past year or so it has been sitting in the garage and only started and taken for a quick spin once in a while.
A few issues have developed since I've owned the bike. The main problem is that the plugs continually oil up and stop working (usually only the lower cylinder). This will need to be addressed as you usually get only 1-2 rides before a plug needs to be cleaned or replaced. It also tends to misfire at higher rpms so power drops off sooner than it should. The only other problems are cosmetic damage (scratches on fairings, mirrors, expansion chamber etc. from bike being dropped in the past). Recently fitted a new rear tyre and clutch, both which have seen very little use. No WoF, and rego is on hold. Comes with fairings, but they're not on at the moment to make access to plugs easier.
Price is flexible given that you will have to put in some time and money to get it running as it should.
