Sounds like a match made in heaven, maybe it's your new commuter instead of the scooters you were researching

If it was in Auckland I would buy it. They are awesome on the beach.

my first bike as an RV90. wonderful, fun, very cheap to run. $1 for a full tank, but that was in the 70s.
bought it in jan 1973 for $600. reared a car on my first day; left fat tyre prints on the car's bumper. driver checked his car and had a good laugh. no harm to bike; it just bounced off.
second bike was a TS250 but didn't like it. sold it after 6 months and bought another RV90 and used it for 3 years.
wish Suzuki still manufactures them. would love a brand new one.

I wonder how it would go on the road?
If it had a bigger motor it would be like riding Judge Dredd's bike.

This fella says he go it ti 70 on a paddock, so slap an ohlins shock in the rear, firm up the front a bit and who knows... at least it could go down the 60k dual carriage ways around chch fine. They've got pretty cool tyres :niceone:
Edit, and if you live out of town then you could just cut through paddocks after a while

Yup, 70 on the paddock, and on the road. I imagine it would go better (+1-2KM/Hr?) with a new air filter etc?

'Tis the Vanvan indeed. They will take a A100 engine (if you can find one). I have one I use to scoot around on - and fall off.

I have one or two of the RV125s. Larger wheels but narrower on the front than the rear. Makes wet grass 'interesting'

No bites?
Too expensive?
Make me an offer - it has to go before I'm allowed to bring home my new 250!
